Fortune reports that the lawyers who successfully prevented Elon Musk from getting his approximately $100 billion pay deal in a Delaware court wanted $5.6 billion for winning the case. This is the height of hypocrisy; arguing that Elon Musk's pay expectation were excessive and greedy, and the turning around and doing exactly the same. The judge in the case, however, reduced the lawyers' payout to $345 million (in cash or Tesla shares), which is still a lot of money for one case. |
