This video new report on YouTube has the title "US Fastest Hypersonic Jet Reaching The Speed Of Light Is Ready To Fly". This is clearly nonsense. I have actually watched the video, and it is clear that the intent is to create a jet that will reach Mach 5; at no point is there any mention of the speed of light, except in the title. As many readers are aware, the speed of light cannot be reached with our current understanding of science, and would require infinite energy. If it were possible, an aircraft at even a fraction of this speed would create a shock wave that would strip the planet of its atmosphere and do untold damage to the planetary surface. Enough with the bullshit! |
