There has been lots of news coverage in the last week about the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, which has been meeting in Yokohama. A key conclusion is that changes in climate have already caused impacts on natural and human systems. This report includes some useful maps showing expected impacts on crop yields and climate. Maybe now the deniers will shut up, and we can get more focus on actually dealing with the problems that will result from global warming. | |
